In 1992, Man Wah was founded in Hong Kong, the Pearl of the East. In the same year, its first sofa factory was established in Shenzhen, a special economic zone for reform and opening up.
In 1993, Man Wah relies on Shenzhen sofa factory to engage in sales business in Hong Kong, and expanded its business to Japan, South Korea, Singapore and the Middle East, and even sold its products to the American market.
In 1996, Man Wah opened the first cheers store in Shenzhen, China.
In 1997, Man Wah opened its first Morewell store in MCP Central, Hong Kong.
In 1998, the construction of Man Wah Industrial Zone No. 189 Industrial District, Henggang Town, Shenzhen was commenced. Man Wah accelerates the development of global market and appears in Las Vegas Furniture Fair, USA.
In 2000, Man Wah opened the first Cheers store in Shenzhen, China, and began the legendary journey of creating the first brand of functional sofa. King Famous Bedding Manufacturing (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. was established. And the road of global scientific and technological health sleep was commenced.
In 2001, Man Wah established cooperative relations with famous European furniture importers and retailers, and its products were recognized by European users and entered the European market.
In 2002, Man Wah authorized three “Cheers” franchisees to open specialty stores in Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen, China.
In 2005, Man Wah Holdings Limited is listed on Singapore Stock Exchange. China's first modern low-carbon environmental protection industrial city started construction in Daya Bay, Huizhou, Guangdong.
In 2006, Man WahUSA. Inc was founded.

In 2010,Man Wah is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Man Wah stands out from many competitors at home and abroad, and has become a sofa product for China's high-speed rail. Man Wah's second modern low-carbon environmental protection industrial city started construction in Wujiang, Jiangsu. Cheers First Class Sofa, a product of Man Wah Holding Group, was unveiled at Shanghai World Expo Cinema, showing China's intellectual creation.

In 2014, Dr. Wong Man Li, Chairman of Man Wah' Board of Directors, was listed on the cover of Forbes Asia English edition, becoming the first person in Chinese furniture industry. In 2014, Man Wah was included in the Hang Seng Composite Large and Medium-sized Stock Index by Hang Seng Index Co. Ltd. and was selected in the first batch of "Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect", becoming the only selected enterprise in the furniture industry. In 2014, Man Wah won the "Oscar"-"Outstanding Chinese Company Award" in Hong Kong business.
From July 20 th to August 2nd, 2015, Man Wah Holdings Limited and Red Star Macalline Home Furnishing Group Co. Ltd. held the first Cheers National Upgrade Day, which was a carnival day for consumers to improve their comfort. The purpose of "National Upgrade Day" is for consumers to "buy first-class sofas and mattresses at economy class prices".
In 2016, Man Wah's fourth modern industrial park was officially launched in Huizhou, Guangdong Province. Man Wah Industrial City has a total construction area of over 1.6 million square meters, making it the most powerful home furnishing enterprise in China. In 2016, Man Wah' fiscal year 2016 performance exceeded HK$ 7 billion, leading the Asian furniture enterprises. In 2016, Cheers First Class Sofa, a subsidiary of Man Wah, officially signed a contract with superstar Andy Lau as the brand image ambassador. Enlanda mattress was upgraded to "Cheers 5 Star Mattress".
In 2017, Man Wah owned more than 2,000 Cheers stores in China. Cheers 5-star mattress sells pretty well in American market. Man Wah established the fifth largest industrial park in Chongqing, China. Man Wah has cooperated with more than 300 China's high-end cinemas.
In 2018, Man Wah won the 2017 Guangdong Annual Economic Billboard. Wanhua became the first local brand sponsored by the Hong Kong station of FIVB World Women's Volleyball League in 2018. Wanhua released "China's First White Paper on Sofa Comfort Index", presenting China's Home Comfort Index based on big data. Man Wah's brand Cheers First-class sofa landed in China Southern Airlines, the largest airline in Asia, showing a comfortable lifestyle. Cheers or First-Class once again ranked among the "Top 500 Asian Brands", "Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises Manufacturing Industry in 2018" and "Peak Design" in the United States.
In 2019, Man Wah donated money to China Europe International Business School Switzerland Branch to help the global economic think tank personnel cultivation.
